Valentine Cup

So it's that time of year again. Yesterday was our first play-off game in the Valentines Cup. Our team has been practicing all winter for this. Last year the Lamont Rockettes beat us in the A final. Oh, but not this year, even with all their mean and nasty methods of tripping, stick holding, and board slamming we won a great victory of 7-2. Somehow I truly believe that the good beats out evil. The Rockettes are a younger team and alot more agressive than us middle aged Spirits.
We play for fun, and pray before each game that we won't break any bones. Although we lost the Beer shoot out, the win of a tough game fueled our joy. Thursday we play again, this time a more civilized team. Wish us luck.
