Sometimes life provides us with the unique and extraordinary ability to see society and the human experience with clarity. Sometimes it only provides us with frustration and chaos.

Game Number Two

Another game last night. This time the game was similiar to the Italians vs Canadain hockey in the Olympics. A 15-4 win. Although unlike the Olympics, we all played for fun and noone condemned us for the high score difference. The other team was short players so we even gave them some of ours. Somehow from my experience last night I am a little annoyed by the Italian team for their self-pity. To stop scoring goals during a game because of a unfair score spread is ridiulous. That to me is like telling a golfer to aim for the dug-out, a skier to ski on his hands, or to hunt without wildlife. The whole point is to get the puck in the net, taking that purpose away leaves the sport pointless.
The Lamont girls played and enjoyed the game never the less. They played hard and requardless of the score everyone played a great game of hockey.
So to you Italian women who play hockey, get over it, suck it up , and enjoy the game for if you aren't playing to score, Why are you playing?
